The non-rusting V4A stainless steel pursuant to DIN EN 100 88-1 makes this gas spring particularly corrosion-resistant and is consequently suited for use in shipyards or the chemical industry. Carefully chosen materials for the components yield a virtually iron-free product that will barely interfere with magnetic fields, such as they occur in medical or defense technology.
